MBSA Meeting Minutes 9/12/2007

MBSA Meeting Minutes

Date: 9/12/07 – 8:30pm @Community Park Field House

Attendance: 19 people including board members

President’s Report:

·        At the October 2nd meeting elections with be held for both the Board and other positions. Anyone interested in a board position should contact Diana Higgins via e-mail- Dianahiggins@optonline.net by 9/25/07. The current Board positions are:

§        President

§        Vice President

§        Treasurer

§        Director of Baseball

§        Director of Softball

§        Sponsorship Director

§        Secretary

For all other positions you should be present at the 10/2 meeting. If there are multiple individuals wanting the same position a vote will take place at the meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting and are interested in a position please submit your name and position to dianahiggins@optonline.net.

·        New 5^th Base Update- Roof repairs were made and all animals have been moved to second bay. Demolition of first bay begins 9/13/07.  New building should be completed by January 2008.

·        Discussion took place on changes to softball in the areas of equipment and league/games setup. Once the Director of Softball is established the changes will be reviewed.

·        Fundraising for next year was discussed. A Brick Drive for the new patio in front of the new 5^th base will be one fundraiser. Anyone interested in being part of this committee should contact Diana Higgins at dianahiggins@optonline.net 

Treasurer’s Report: Nothing to report.

Softball Report:  Nothing to report.

Baseball Report:  Nothing to report.

Next meeting will be held on October 2^nd (Tuesday) at 8:30pm. Location of meeting will be the field house at Community Park Field.
