MBSA Meeting Minutes

Date:  November 2, 2009

Attendance:  8

 Meeting called to order at 8:30pm

  

President’s Report: 

•Fall clean up is November 14^th at 9am

 •New lock has been placed on shed.  Coaches will need to see field maintenance crews to get keys. 

 •Looking into online registration

 •Opening Day is April 10th

 •Fundraisers: 

Looking at a social event like a beefsteak

Car Raffle- Already have information regarding pricing.  Will be voted on at the December meeting.

 

Softball: 

•Travel tryouts have been completed and rosters are on the websites.

 •Michelle Fund is April 30^th to May 2^nd.  Already have 26 teams plus the Montville teams.

 •Travel policies will be put into writing and voted on by the membership.

 

Baseball:

•Spring tryouts are on going and should be completed by November 14^th.

 •Tom Sylvester agreed to be Spring League Coordinator

 

Treasurer:

• Approximately $47,000 in the account.  Bills have been paid.

 •Team sponsorships have been coming in.

 

The next MBSA meeting will be Tuesday, December 1^st at 8:00pm.

 Meeting adjourned at 8:50pm.
