MBSA Meeting Minutes

Date: 6/3/07 - Community Park Field House

NOTE: Very poor attendance. Only 9 people including 5 MBSA Board members

President’s Report:

·        4^th of July Parking- Chris Schlomann or Tim Holmes will be contacting coaches on obtaining at least 2 volunteers from each team to help with the 4^th of July parking.  The MBSA made $3500 last year running the 4^th of July parking.  

Treasurer’s Report:

·        Report balance is $146,593.25. The MBSA Dinner Dance made $22,070.  

·        Financial Reports were available at meeting.

Softball Report:

·        Game time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes was discussed. The 1:30 limit is not allowing 6 innings to be played and is an unwritten rule. The league rules state that “No new inning shall start more then 1:45 after the scheduled start time”. The outcome of the discussion was to play by the league rule of 1:45 and NOT 1:30.

Baseball Report:

·        Playoff schedules are done and will go to coordinators shortly.

Next meeting is July 8^th 7:00pm at the Community Park Field House
