MBSA Meeting Minutes

Date:  January 6, 2009

Attendance:  15

Meeting called to order at 8:10pm

 

President’s Report: 

• In person spring registration is January 17^th and 31^st

• Team sponsors are still needed

• The new lights should be in place for opening day for Muni 1 and 2

• Frozen Ropes is running a coaches clinic for all Montville coaches on March 18^th and 19^th.  Baseball will be the 18^th from 8:30pm to 10pm and Softball will be the 19^th from 8:30pm to 10pm.

• The PA system needs to be updated/repaired.  MBSA will try to find a local business to help.

Treasurer’s Report:

Current balance is $68,000.  30 spring registrations and 10 sponsorships have come in.

Baseball:

Nothing new to report

Softball: 

There is a meeting on February 3^rd at 7pm at 5^th Base to go over the softball rules.

 The next MBSA meeting will be Tuesday, February 3rd at 8:00pm.

 Meeting adjourned at 8:18pm.
