MBSA Meeting Minutes

Date:  February 3rd

Attendance:  25+

 Meeting called to order at 8:01pm

 President’s Report: 

• In person registration is completed.  Mail in registration due by February 21^st. 

• Registrations are down from where they were at this time last year.

• Team sponsors are still needed (about 50)

• The new lights should be in place for opening day for Muni 1 and 2.

Spring clean up is March 21^st at 8am.  March 28^th will be the rain date.  Many people will be needed.  The Kiwanis will also need some help with rebuilding the playground area.

.Treasurer’s Report:

• Current balance is $114,000

 Baseball:

• U13 spring travel tryouts will be at Frozen Ropes on March 6^th at 8pm.

• U14 spring travel team had 10 boys sign up and tryouts will not be necessary.

• The spring rec draft will tentatively be March 5^th.

• The MTHS baseball coach has agreed to run players clinics.  No dates have been set.

 Softball: 

• The draft for rec softball will be on March 16th at 5^th Base.  B level will be at 6:30pm and A level will be at 8pm.

• Coach Immediato’s clinic dates:

  • March 7th &14th: grades 6-8 4-5:30pm
  • March 7th &14th: grades 4-5 5:30-7:00pm
  • March 21st & 28th: grades K-1 4-5:30pm
  • March 21st & 28th: grades 2-3 5:30-7:00pm

There will be 2 MBSA meetings in March.  The first will be Tuesday, March 3^rd at 8pm and the second will be Tuesday, March 31^st at 8pm. 

 Meeting adjourned at 8:28pm.
