MBSA Meeting Minutes

Date: 12/0507 – 8:30pm @Community Park Field House

Attendance: Approx. 25 people

 President’s Report:

·     Thanked everyone who helped with the fall cleanup.

·      Presentation by Extra Innings which is a full service baseball training facility. Extra Innings is located at 23 Leslie Court in Whippany.  Their phone number is 973-560-1300.

·      Brick Drive Project Update (Diana Higgins) – Order form and online ordering is complete and ready for use. The form and online link is on the MBSA website. There will be 3 sizes offered - 8 x 4 for $100 , 8 x 8 for $250 and 8 x 8 Corporate Logo for $350. Order form will be going out with registration packet.

·      Registration forms are complete and will be dropped off at the schools this week and should be distributed the week of 12/10.

 Softball Report:

·      An Umpire presentation was done by Steven Leonardo.  Steve discussed his umpire organization and how they could improve umpire service for Montville Softball.

 Baseball Report:

·      Spring Travel tryouts for the Upper League (13 & 14 year olds) will be in the spring.

 Treasurer’s Report:

·      Not Available

 Next meeting will be held January 8^th at 8:30pm. Location of meeting will be the field house at Community Park Field.
